Information System
Management
Information System is a computer based system that provides information for the
users who have similar needs or purposes and this system is commonly used in
business (such as Corporate Finance,
Marketing, Management, Accounting) and
technology (Such as in Computer Engineering, Computer Science). MIS provides
information needed to manage organizations effectively. Management information
systems involve three primary resources: Technology, Information, and People.
It's important to recognize that while all three resources are key components
when studying management information systems, the most important resource is
people.

Hypertext
Hypertext
is the presentation of information
as a linked
network
of nodes
which readers
are free to navigate
in a non-linear fashion. It allows for multiple authors, a blurring of the
author and reader functions, extended works with diffuse boundaries, and
multiple reading paths.
For
example when we search a keyword on the internet, and there are some links to
other web address related to the keyword we search.
Hypermedia
Hypermedia is an extension of the
term hypertext that enables a user to access not only text but also can access
photo, audio, video and computer graphics related to particular topic directly.
Multimedia
Multimedia is a media that has a
combination of various form of
information such as text, graphics,
video, and audio as a supported media to convey information or simply
gives entertainment to users.
Conclusion
Management
Information System, Hypertext, Hypermedia, and Multimedia are very important
for us, because we can access many information that we need. As teachers (
candidates of teacher ) we can also use those devides to access many
information related to teaching.
